Sometimes planning is complicated. Especially when traveling abroad which requires research for almost everything including attractions, hotels, restaurants, transportation, expenses, required documents etc. After we list out places we plan to visit, then we would get a rough plan, for example, stay in a place for 3-4 days then move to other places. This is good enough for relaxing vacation and slow-paced travellers. People who love to explore and get the most out of their vacations want to know if they have enough time to visit other places and if their itineraries are too packed. This requires planning in detail.
"Timing" makes planning in detail difficult because we need to know the time we finish from a place then we can plan for the next place, and we can't just list places in order and estimate time spending on each place. There are other factors such as traveling time and opening hours of the places we planned to visit. The rough steps are as follows: (click here for "How to use the website")
Put places on the map and arrange them in order.
Specify time spending on each place.
Click "Display", the system will calculate and display distance and time required to travel between places including attractions, restaurants, hotels along the travel route.
Add places for breakfast and lunch.
Check each place if the arrival time matches the opening hours.
Add places for dinner, hotel and accommodation.
P.S. It is always a great idea to have some spare time for each day and not rush itinerary.
It takes 26 min from the airport (Suvarnabhumi Station) to Phaya Thai Station by ARL, then walk 5 min to the hotel. It is also close by BTS (Phaya Thai Station).
